Inability to Relax
Due to our busy lifestyles and the demands that work and family can place on us, it is hardly surprising that many of us suffer from tension and the inability to relax. Poor posture at work, having to sit for large amounts of the day, stress or a chronic condition can all be factors in contributing to an inability to relax.
Without time to relieve these stresses on your body, joints may become tense and the surrounding muscles that act upon these joints may enter a state of dysfunction. One of the most common areas that we feel pain and tension is our upper shoulders and neck.
We can offer a consultation with one of our chiropractors who can perform chiropractic adjustments and/or soft tissue therapy which will help realign the spine and reduce muscle tension, with the aim of aiding the body to relax.
